Octagon - The Home Depot Final Four Tool Shaq
- Mens: Phoenix, AZ / Womens: Cleveland, OH
This project involved activating a 60’ x 60’ area at the Men’s and Women’s Final Four events. At the project’s onset, we collaborated with Octagon and their creative team to develop the flow and activities within the designated footprint. From their initial concepts, we created detailed working drawings to guide the fabrication of all components.
To ensure compliance with local building codes and fire safety standards, I coordinated with an external engineering firm to review and validate the designs and loads. Our team also managed all logistics, including shipping and coordination with local venues and unions, through multiple meetings and on-site visits.
The fabrication process was carried out entirely in-house at our scenic and fabrication shop. Once on-site, we oversaw all project management to successfully execute the original vision, transforming the concept into a fully realized activation.
